2013

315MVA 400/220/33kV 3 phase autotransformer has successfully passed the full scale dynamic short circuit test at KEMA, Netherlands.

Vijai Electricals Ltd. have developed and tested, with in-house technology, 333MVA 1150/v3/400/v3/33kV 1phase Auto Transformer for Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. This is world’s highest voltage rating Power Transformer ever manufactured and we are proud to have completed this development with our own technology at Vijai Electricals Limited.

2011

82MVA (Bank of 246MVA) 15/420kV single phase generator transformer has successfully passed the full scale dynamic short circuit test at KEMA, Netherlands.

2010

Vijai Electricals expands its product range by Introduction of Condensor Bushings and MV GIS.

2009

Incorporation of the Mexican wing of Vijai Electricals Ltd. India. Successful SC testing of the first 50 MVA Transformers produced by the EHV wing in the first attempt. Vijai Electricals Ltd. made a successful acquisition of Electroteknica Switchgears Pvt Ltd., Kolkata, a well known manufacturer of MV Switchgear in Eastern Region, through a Share Purchase Agreement.

2007

Incorporation of Brazilian Subsidiary of Vijai Electricals Ltd. India.

Vijai Electricals Ltd. commences its Switchgear and Instrument Transformer operations from a World Class Infrastructural facilities in Rudraram.

2006

Accreditation to all Testing laboratories viz., Transformer Testing Laboratories Units- 02 & 03, Conductor Testing Laboratory – Unit-04 and Transformer Oil Testing laboratory in Unit -2, from National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

2005

Technical Collaboration with Daihen Corp. Japan for Large Power Transformers up to 500 MVA, 500 KV Class.

2004

Commissioning of exclusive and complete Corrugation Line.

2003

Entry into turnkey electrification & substation projects. Successful completion of Arc Proof Test on 30 kVA Single-Phase Transformers as per JIS (Japanese Standards) for the first time in India.

2002

Successful Type testing of 1000 KVA Amorphous Metal Distribution Transformers.

Design & Engineering

Equipped with the latest design and engineering technologies, Vijai caters to international specifications in terms of product quality and customer satisfaction. Software wing of its engineering department has successfully developed computer programs for Electrical Design calculations enabling millions of iterative calculations converging to a very optimum design. This is done exclusively for National and International tenders wherein total owning costs are the major concern. Vijai' s vision is to achieve a complete set of design calculations, bill of materials and structural drawings, all with a single click of a mouse. Vijai has a variety of design options for different types of conductor and core materials.

Manufacturing & Supply

Vijai delivered power transformers for global market needs, by staying ahead with several bests and firsts to its credit - including the world's first high voltage transformer - 1150/√3/400/33 kV. Vijai manufactures has started to manufacture aluminum conductors for overhead transmission purpose and ABC (Aerial Bunch Cables) as per relevant BIS Standards.

Installation & Automation

It's critical to design power transmission and distribution projects and its components that cater to maximum efficiency and minimal interruptions. Vijai's project engineering strives to offer socioeconomic benefits to rural and urban communities by delivering reliable and robust systems as EPC major. Since 2004, Projects Division is ISO 9001 certified for "Turnkey Project Management" of Power Transmission and Distribution Projects up to EHV Level that includes design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities; right from the consumer end connections and feeder separation to substation and transmission lines of 11kV, 33kV, 132kV, 220kV and 400kV categories. Today, Vijai is IMS certified, covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
